Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins a six-day visit to the UAE, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy on Friday, aimed at deepening India’s global partnerships across trade, defence, energy, and innovation.
In the UAE, he will meet President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for talks on energy cooperation. In the Netherlands, he will call on King Willem-Alexander and hold talks with PM Rob Jetten on defence, green hydrogen, and semiconductors.
In Sweden, Modi and PM Ulf Kristersson will address the European Round Table for Industry alongside European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Norway hosts the 3rd India-Nordic Summit, followed by bilateral meetings. The final leg covers Italy, where Modi will meet President Sergio Mattarella and PM Giorgia Meloni, building on the Joint Strategic Action Plan 2025–2029.
