India scripted history by qualifying for the quarterfinals of the AFC Under-17 Women’s Asian Cup for the first time ever with a commanding 4-0 victory over Lebanon in their final Group B match on Thursday.
Pritika Barman scored twice (7th and 85th minutes), while Alva Devi Senjam (36th) and Joya (72nd) added one goal each.
Reaching the semifinals of this tournament will secure India a place in the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
