Fire Breaks Out in Rajdhani Express Coach in Madhya Pradesh, All Passengers Safe

A fire broke out in the B-1 coach of the Thiruvananthapuram–Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam early this morning, prompting swift action from railway authorities and averting a major accident.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 5:20 am between Luni Richha and Vikramgarh Alot stations in the Kota railway division. Railway staff immediately cut off the power supply and detached the affected coach from the train to prevent the fire from spreading.

All passengers travelling in the B-1 coach were safely evacuated, and no injuries or casualties were reported. Railway officials confirmed that passengers and staff members remained unharmed during the incident.

Authorities said some train services were affected temporarily following the emergency response operations. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been launched by railway officials. Source: News On Air
