The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over northeastern states including Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and others, along with Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal over the next two days.
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are expected today across Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and several other states.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are likely to see hot and humid conditions through tomorrow.
