NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam on June 21; NTA Urges Students to Follow Official Updates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination for NEET UG 2026 will be held on June 21. In a social media post, the agency urged candidates and parents to rely only on NTA’s official channels for authentic updates and information.

The decision comes after the NEET UG exam conducted on May 3 was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. The matter is currently under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a high-level meeting last night to review preparations for the upcoming examination. Discussions focused on ensuring the smooth, secure, and transparent conduct of the test.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including the Secretaries of Higher Education and School Education, the Director General of NTA, the Chairperson of CBSE, and Commissioners of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), along with other top officials.
