Samsung’s Galaxy Watch can predict vasovagal syncope (fainting) up to five minutes in advance using AI, according to a new clinical study.
The AI model, tested on 132 patients using heart rate data from the Galaxy Watch 6, achieved 84.6% accuracy. The study was published in the European Heart Journal – Digital Health.
The feature is not yet available on the devices and requires further studies and regulatory approvals.
