The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the registration drive for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) till the 15th.
The campaign, led by Anganwadi and ASHA workers, aims to ensure all eligible pregnant and lactating women are enrolled. The scheme provides financial support for nutrition and promotes better health practices.
Since its launch, over 4.05 crore beneficiaries have received assistance worth ₹19,028 crore through direct benefit transfer.
